ABOUT US
Refugees, Children and Vulnerable Citizens (RCVC) is a public, humanitarian non-profit organization, which was created and registered with Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan on January 2, 1996. Up to this day,
RCVC has worked closely with local, international governmental and nongovernmental organizations in successfully assisting hundreds of marginalized and vulnerable individuals in gaining access to essential services, such as health care, legal advice and employment.
Tajikistan currently hosts around 5000 refugees and asylum seekers most of whom live in Rudaki District, Vahdat city and Khujand.

our mission
- To provide social and material assistance to refugees and Tajikistan’s most vulnerable citizens.
- To improve access to education for refugees and Tajikistan’s most vulnerable citizens.
- To provide free health care and advice for refugees and Tajikistan’s most vulnerable citizens.
- To provide beneficiaries with the skills they need to be successful in the workplace. This we achieve through providing free vocational training classes at our community centers.
- To protect the rights of refugees and Tajikistan’s most vulnerable citizens.
- To foster local integration and collaboration between refugee population and the local community.
Our achievements
- Opening of the Rudaki Learning Center together with the Adult Education Center
- The stability of the apprenticeship program has been achieved; One of the advantages of the 2017 apprenticeship program is the creation of cutting and sewing courses (national and European clothes) at the Training Centers in Vahdat, Rudaki and RCVC, involving experienced refugee craftsmen in the program and thereby providing them with jobs. Refugees and local populations study at the courses
- Support for university education for refugees
- Participation in International Women’s Forums and handicraft exhibitions as members of the Union of Craftsmen of Tajikistan
- Integration of cultures and traditions
- Settlement of refugees in schools and training centers
- For the first time, an apprenticeship program was implemented to train the «Hotel Business» on the example of «Sheraton» (7 people)
