RCVC organized a festive event dedicated to the World Refugees Day in Vahdat city under Project “HOPE”— Harnessing Opportunity for Peaceful Existence: Promoting Economic and Social Integration of Afghan Refugees in Tajikistan supported by Women`s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) in partnership with UN Women to promote socio-economic recovery, participation and leadership of Afghan women and young women in forced displacement in Tajikistan. All afghan refugee children and adults from Vahdat city and Rudaki district together with local children and adults actively participated in the event.
Within the framework of the event, different activities and master classes were organized to attract and promote both Afghan and Tajik culture. Master classes on beading, henna painting, face art, confectionery and art were also part of the event programme. In addition, animators were invited to cheer up children and a concert was organized for all guests and participants.
